Tab Trip !!

For one week during summer vacation, some TIUA and WU students went to Washington to help immigrants as a volunteer activity. Apple plant, English school, church, community, many immigrants are there. Moreover, 65% of immigrants come from Mexico, so they speak Spanish. It was a great experience for us to learn about them, talk in another language or different way without language. And member of the team are kind  and smart student. They taught me many things. It was a good time.

The Antique Shop

Near by Salem Center, there is an old antique shop. At the first, it seemed that this shop has already closed, because it looked like very old and dusty. But, in that shop, it is different to looking of outside. There are a lot of interesting thing that Japanese has never seen in Japan. Dolls, caps, paintings, furniture. TIUA students passed more than 2 hours in there.
